Hi,

Could someone please point me in the right direction cos this is driving
me mad.

I want to use the S-Video input (via MythTV) for better sound quality
than the tuner (terrible when turned up!). However when I configure my
system, the video quality is blochy and the colours are either
green/purple or washed out. I know this has been asked before with the
solution of:

ivtvctl -d /dev/video0 -j reg=0x6c,val=0x9a

But this does not work on my PVR (gives errors I cannot remember now)
and since upgrading to IVTV V0.8.0 I have tried:

ivtvctl --set-register chip=saa7115,reg=0x6c,val=0x9a
ioctl VIDIOC_INT_S_REGISTER failed: No such device
ivtvctl --set-register chip=saa7127,reg=0x6c,val=0x9a
ioctl VIDIOC_INT_S_REGISTER failed: No such device
