Yes, it checks for the right options, but there is no "TV_EEPROM" 
option.  That's the problem (unless I'm mistaken).  Turning on the 
Conexant driver enables that one.

So, technically yes, its checking for the right stuff, but it's 
*telling* you to turn on settings that don't have an option in the 
menuconfig list.
