Hi,

Quite recently I've upgraded my box to a new kernel and new ivtv
driver. Unfortunately mythtv didn't really wanted to work with that -
ie consecutive frames were mangled together, sometimes the video was
speeding up then slowing down, I had half of one frame on the top side
of the screen, another on the bottom etc. Basically - a huge mess with
video, but sound was ok. The same problem was occuring in mplayer.
Accidentaly I discovered that if I start mplayer before mythtv - it
all looks ok but the picture is significantly bigger (720x576). After
starting mythtv - the resolution was reduced to 480x480 (the one I had
set up in myth) and the problems where starting again. Changing the
resultion in myth to natural PAL resolution fixed the problem almost
completly (except for the program guide).
I hope that helps someone :-)

regards
pshemko
