Hey, I'm running Ubuntu 6.06 (Linux mystic 2.6.15-27-amd64-generic #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Sep 16 01:50:50 UTC 2006 x86_64 GNU/Linux), ivtv 4.8 and mythtv 0.20 with a PVR 500.
I have a 'tinny' audio problem sometimes. It happens most of the time during live tv, and not nearly as often during a pre-recorded show (2 out of 17 so far). No difference to ivtv I suspect, but that's the way it seems to me. If I switch channels long enough the problem will go away, but it can take 5+ tries. One of the examples I recorded two shows at the same time (different channels), the problem occurred on one of the channels. I have both recordings available if anyone wants to here them (I'll cut them down to size). I've looked through the archives, and found previous discussions, thus upgraded (from 4.7)...
