Hello,

I have Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150. I compiled latest driver, new kernel
(2.6.19.1) and I followed Debian Howto from wiki (mostly):
http://ivtvdriver.org/index.php/Howto:Debian

This is dmesg output of card initialization:

ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV ====================
ivtv: version 0.9.1 (tagged release) loading
ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.19.1jb3 SMP preempt mod_unload PENTIUMIII REGPARM

ivtv: the START INIT IVTV and END INIT IVTV lines, along with
ivtv: any module options, when mailing the ivtv-users mailinglist.

I have source and standard set up:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ v4l2-ctl -I
Video input : 0 (Tuner 1)
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ v4l2-ctl -S
Video standard = 0x000000ff
        PAL-B/B1/G/H/I/D/D1/K

When I do cat /dev/video0 | xine stdin://mpeg2, I see only noise (seems tuner
is tuned to dead channel). When I try tuning using ivtv-tune (or ptune-ui), I
still see dead channel. No matter how I tried changing the settings
(pal-europe,
  pal-europe-east, ...), I see dead channel.

The input has signal (I got it from TV, my cable TV is working okay). Seems,
that tuning does not work well. Is there some software to
automatically discover
channels or settings? I'm in Slovak Republic, using UPC as cable provider.
  Any ideas?

    Thank you,

      Juraj Bednar.
