Hi,
I am using Mepis 6, and followed the install instructions for IVTV from
here : https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Install_IVTV_Dapper
Synaptic shows the version of ivtv-source as: 0.4.8-0ubuntu0ivtv2
ivtv-firmware version shows as: 0.20061007
kernel version 2.6.15-27
Everything went fine, and ivtv seems to initialize ok, but not detect my
device. From my dmesg output:
[17180048.448000] ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV
====================
[17180048.448000] ivtv: version 0.4.8 (tagged release) loading
[17180048.448000] ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.15-27-386 preempt 486 gcc-4.0
[17180048.448000] ivtv: In case of problems please include the debug
info between
[17180048.448000] ivtv: the START INIT IVTV and END INIT IVTV lines,
along with
[17180048.448000] ivtv: any module options, when mailing the ivtv-users

[17180048.448000] ivtv: ==================== END INIT IVTV

Also, lsusb -v provides the following on my PVR:

But alas, I have no /dev/videoX and the dmesg output from ivtv does not
seem to initialize my device.
I've scoured the web off and on over the past couple months, and have
been unable to find anything to help me get the device working.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
CJ
