Looking for help on one that has really perplexed me for the last few
days. I have a prv250 running in an amd64 box using mythtv that until I
replaced the dvd drive a few days ago, was working perfectly. I had been
using kernel 2.6.17 with ivtv 0.7.0 without problems. After installing
the new dvd drive, I can no longer get sound from livetv. I've tried
capturing the raw video output from /dev/video0. The video is clean but
no sound. Playing back recordings, movies, music, etc work fine. The
sound output is just it always was.
I've turned on the debug flag for msp3400 and found out that now, it can
no longer determine the audio standard. I have set the option value to
0x20 as was recommended in other cases similar to this. Still, I get no
sound.
I've upgraded to 2.6.18 and ivtv 0.8.2. However, I'm still getting no
sound output from live tv.
I've provided the output from dmesg, lspci, and v4l2-ctl. If anyone can
see what I'm missing here, it would be greatly appreciated.
