Hi all. I just updated my gentoo box to 2.6.19-r5 and ivtv 0.9.1. The ivtv driver fails to load the firmware on boot time for the second card, but works for the first card. After the machine is booted, I can do "rmmod ivtv; insmod ivtv" and the drivers loads perfectly.
Below is a dmesg output right after bootup and after reloading it. I have a PVR-500. Any thoughts? BTW: I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but the picture is crystal clear now. It used to be slightly snowy and have one wide horizontal distortion line across the screen.
