I have a PVR-250 that was recently working fine with ivtv-0.4.4 and
analog cable. I recently moved from analog to digital cable, and made
a few upgrades to my MythTV 0.20 Gentoo box before the transition:
- added SCSI and USB to my kernel (2.4.26) and recompiled
- upgraded Gentoo's sys-apps/portage
- added lirc for controlling my Motorola DCT700/US STB
- upgraded ivtv to 0.4.9
Now, my tuner records only static (input 4, channel 3). Composite
works fine. I've verified my STB is producing a coax channel 3 signal
with a TV and tried multiple known good RG-6 coax cables. I have
tried older ivtv releases (0.4.4 to 0.4.8) and today's release 0.4.10.
I've powered off for 30+ minutes to reset the card. I'm out of ideas
on troubleshooting this. Any help appreciated.
