It's considered bad practice to change it, the fix is not that
difficult. It's just that if many people did this there would be
massive breakage. If you know what i mean. Most files are usually
stored on mirrors, but these not (maybe license reasons), so it became
obvious very fast (normally the mirrors are primary source).
