OK, problem solved! I did not need the ivtvfbctl settings suggested by Stanley. Once I was able to restore my MythTV database and start the frontend, I was a happy man. I am now able to playback video, but for some reason new recordings are playing a little too fast. Everyone has "helium voices" but the audio is in sync with the video. Any ideas? Maybe something about the recording settings I need to check? Old recordings seem to be fine.
