It's a single line with: ivtv0 warning: CX2341X_ENC_SET_VBI_LINE took 128 jiffies (1000 per HZ)

It may not be worth my time to try and pinpoint the cause. MythTV was stable on the same hardware in FC4. I've not been able to get it to work reliably in FC6. I'm thinking of replacing the complete system and with non PVR 350 TV card. Hoping to finally get it stable I just updated to a new kernel (with what seemed to be the right ivtv and video4linux versions). /var/log/messages now shows: v4l1_compat: no version for "struct_module" found: kernel tainted. and then a bit later: kernel: ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV ==================== kernel: ivtv: version 1.0.0 (2.6.19-1.2911.6.5.fc6 SMP mod_unload 686 REGPARM 4KSTACKS ) loading kernel: ivtv0: Autodetected Hauppauge card (cx23415 based) kernel: ivtv0: loaded v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw firmware (376836 bytes) kernel: ivtv0: loaded v4l-cx2341x-dec.fw firmware (262144 bytes) kernel: ivtv0: Encoder revision: 0x02060039 kernel: ivtv0: Decoder revision: 0x02020023 kernel: saa7127 0-0044: saa7127 found @ 0x88 (ivtv i2c driver #0) kernel: ivtv0: Autodetected Hauppauge WinTV PVR-350 kernel: tuner 0-0061: chip found @ 0xc2 (ivtv i2c driver #0) kernel: saa7115 0-0021: saa7115 found (1f7115d0e100000) @ 0x42 (ivtv i2c driver #0) kernel: msp3400 0-0040: MSP4418G-A2 found @ 0x80 (ivtv i2c driver #0) kernel: ivtv0: Registered device video0 for encoder MPEG (4 MB) kernel: ivtv0: Registered device video32 for encoder YUV (2 MB) kernel: ivtv0: Registered device vbi0 for encoder VBI (1 MB) kernel: ivtv0: Registered device video24 for encoder PCM audio (1 MB) kernel: ivtv0: Registered device radio0 for encoder radio kernel: ivtv0: Registered device video16 for decoder MPEG (1 MB) kernel: ivtv0: Registered device vbi8 for decoder VBI (1 MB) kernel: ivtv0: Registered device vbi16 for decoder VOUT kernel: ivtv0: Registered device video48 for decoder YUV (1 MB) kernel: ivtv0: loaded v4l-cx2341x-init.mpg firmware (155648 bytes) kernel: ivtv0: Initialized Hauppauge WinTV PVR-350, card #0 kernel: ivtv: ==================== END INIT IVTV ==================== kernel: ivtv_fb: disagrees about version of symbol ivtv_vapi_result kernel: ivtv_fb: Unknown symbol ivtv_vapi_result kernel: ivtv_fb: disagrees about version of symbol ivtv_udma_alloc kernel: ivtv_fb: Unknown symbol ivtv_udma_alloc kernel: ivtv_fb: disagrees about version of symbol ivtv_udma_unmap kernel: ivtv_fb: Unknown symbol ivtv_udma_unmap kernel: ivtv_fb: disagrees about version of symbol ivtv_vapi kernel: ivtv_fb: Unknown symbol ivtv_vapi kernel: ivtv_fb: disagrees about version of symbol ivtv_udma_prepare kernel: ivtv_fb: Unknown symbol ivtv_udma_prepare kernel: ivtv_fb: disagrees about version of symbol ivtv_cards kernel: ivtv_fb: Unknown symbol ivtv_cards kernel: ivtv_fb: disagrees about version of symbol ivtv_udma_setup kernel: ivtv_fb: Unknown symbol ivtv_udma_setup modprobe.conf: alias char-major-81 videodev alias char-major-81-0 ivtv options ivtv-fb osd_compat=1 install ivtv /sbin/modprobe saa7127; /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install ivtv; /sbin/modprobe ivtv-fb installed modules: ivtv-kmdl-2.6.19-1.2911.fc6-0.10.1-126.fc6.at perl-Video-ivtv-0.13-8.fc6.at ivtv-firmware-20070217-13.at ivtv_xdriver-0.10.7-8_r3843.fc6.at ivtv-kmdl-2.6.19-1.2911.6.5.fc6-0.10.1-126.fc6.at ivtv-0.10.1-126.fc6.at kernel-2.6.19-1.2911.6.5.fc6 kernel-headers-2.6.19-1.2911.6.5.fc6 video4linux-kmdl-2.6.19-1.2911.6.5.fc6-20070302-78.fc6.at mythtv-themes-0.20-153.fc6.at mythphone-0.20-153.fc6.at mythweb-0.20-153.fc6.at mythflix-0.20-153.fc6.at myththemes-0.20-110.at libmyth-0.20-153.fc6.at mythvideo-0.20-153.fc6.at mythtv-frontend-0.20-153.fc6.at mythnews-0.20-153.fc6.at mythcontrols-0.20-153.fc6.at mythtv-setup-0.20-153.fc6.at mythgame-0.20-153.fc6.at mythgallery-0.20-153.fc6.at mythtv-0.20-153.fc6.at mythweather-0.20-153.fc6.at mythbrowser-0.20-153.fc6.at mythtv-backend-0.20-153.fc6.at mythmusic-0.20-153.fc6.at Things have not improved with the "v4l1_compat: no version for "struct_module" found: kernel tainted" message. So many dependencies! Any idea how to fix this?
