Hi, I have a Mandriva 2007 64 bit distro. I seem to be having some problems with my ivtv install. The modules will all start okay, but I don't have a /dev/videoX.
I followed the HOWTO and after make and make install this is what the result is: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ivtv-0.7.4]# depmod -a [EMAIL PROTECTED] ivtv-0.7.4]# /sbin/modprobe ivtv cx25840 tuner tveeprom msp3400 wm8775 tda9887 saa7115 saa7127 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ivtv-0.7.4]# /sbin/modprobe ivtv [EMAIL PROTECTED] ivtv-0.7.4]# cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg cat: /dev/video0: No such file or directory Take note that Mandriva 2007 uses a 2.6.17 kernel and I've installed ivtv-0.7.4 as the HOWTO suggests.
