Thanks for the prompt reply and the suggestion. I tried it, and the ivtv-firmware and perl packages installed properly, but the first two ivtv rpms did not; here's what the package manager had to say: Retrieving http://dl.atrpms.net/all/ivtv-0.10.1-126.fc6.i386.rpm error: Failed dependencies: ivtv-kmdl-1:0.10.1-126.fc6 is needed by ivtv-0.10.1-126.fc6.i386 Retrieving http://dl.atrpms.net/all/ivtv-kmdl-2.6.20-1.2948.fc6-0.10.1-126.fc6.x86_64.rpm error: Failed dependencies: /lib/modules/v4l-cx2341x-init.mpg is needed by ivtv-kmdl-2.6.20-1.2948.fc6-0.10.1-126.fc6.x86_64 So, again, it's the mysterious ivtv-kmdl-1:0.10.1-126.fc6 package and /lib/modules/v4l-cx2341x-init.mpg which are the problems. Let me know if you think of anything else; also, I'm curious why yum doesn't work like it's supposed to? If neither yum nor rpms are the answer, I think I might just build the driver from source. _______________________________________________ ivtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://ivtvdriver.org/mailman/listinfo/ivtv-users
