Hi

I installed the DVB drivers by doing,
make menuconfig and unmarked everything except the entry/entries needed for
my nova-t 500,
(I think I only marked dib0700 module).
Then i just maked and make installed.

Forcing the ivtv driver made things go bad.

  Hi

I have had the same issue with the same cards, albeit on SuSE 10.2
  (kernel
2.6.18). My workaround was to force loading the ivtv driver with modprobe
  -f ivtv.

How did you skip v4l while configuring and only add dvb and let the
  kernel
keep its original ivtv driver ?

  Solved,
Skipped v4l while configuring and only added dvb and let the kernel keep
its original ivtv driver, works now.

    Hi,

I´ve added a Hauppage PVR 150 to my machine and it seems as the dvb

I have one Nova-T 500 and one PVR 150, if i reset my edgy to the stock
kernel it detects the 150 card, if
i compile the dvb drivers for the Nova-T card the ivtv module refuses

Don´t know if this is an ivtv or an dvb issue (I´ve mailed both lists).

I´ve compiled the latest source from hg and with every last module, im
running ubunbtu edgy with the stock,
    uname -a
    Linux media 2.6.17-10-generic #2 SMP Tue Dec 5 21:16:35 UTC 2006 x86_64
    GNU/Linux

Any bright ideas out there ?
