I recently upgraded from Ubuntu 6.10 to 7.04. In this upgrade my kernel and ivtv version were also upgraded. I am now experiencing difficulties with getting a continuous stream of sound from my capture card which is an Adaptec AVC 2410. While watching tv with my card, the sound just goes out. The problem can be fixed by restarting the feed from the card, or removing the msp3400 kernel module and reinserting it.
Here is the error I get: [427189.250093] msp3400 1-0040: I/O error #0 (read 0x10/0x200) [427189.260658] msp3400 1-0040: I/O error #1 (read 0x10/0x200) [427189.272775] msp3400 1-0040: I/O error #2 (read 0x10/0x200) [427189.283280] msp3400 1-0040: giving up, resetting chip.
