Hi all, Last weekend I reinstalled my barebone media center with Kubuntu Feisty, coming from Debian Etch. This included an upgrade from kernel 2.6.17 to 2.6.20 that comes with Kubuntu. Since then my PVR500 with Samsung tuner is giving me problems.
Under Debian I used my own compiled tuner.ko (LNA "+4 lines" not included), which gave a fine picture. With the standard 2.6.20 from Kubuntu however, my PVR500 with Samsung tuner is giving me a distorted picture. I put a sample up for download at: http://www.dizzl.com/downloads/distortion-example.mpg I found a thread from last year that seems to reference the same problem, although I'm not sure.
