Hi All,
I am new to the forum. I have the installed the driver
ivtv-0.4.10 for Hauppauge WinTV PVR-350 Card. The installation was
successful and followed the procedure given in the ivtv-howto wiki. In the
same howto they have given how to test the card as follows:
Cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg
Mplayer test.mpg
But when I do the above steps I am getting the following error:
Error: /dev/video0 No such device.
I am using Fedora Core 4 with kernel 2.6.11. Do I have to
install some other modules to make it what is the dirver to be installed to
create a device file of /dev/video0 with major number 81. Can anyone in the
forum help me how to solve the problem.
