I am testing WinTV PVR150 and PVR500 cards, however there is a noticeable difference in quality with regards to ghosting: The cards are installed in the same machine and it makes no difference which antenna is plugged into which card.
I have set the temporal_filter from 0 to various values, I can see its effects, (set it to 31 for visualiser-esque joy) so it is definitely being set but it does not help. I have tried tuning to values near by, and I have ensured that the capture is at native 720x576 VBI is not in use Driver is 0.10.3, kernel 2.6.19.1 http://bryars.eu/gallery/tvcapture/wintv150_cap http://bryars.eu/gallery/tvcapture/wintv500_cap I'm a bit lost now with regards to why the quality is so poor, but I'm extremely keen to get the 500 working better, as after initial tests it doesn't seem to be (as?) susceptible to the DMA TIMEOUT error from beyond.
