Can you turn off HTML when posting to the mailinglist? The HTML messes 
up the layout. FYI: it is common practice to use ascii only on lists

Anyway, if I feed that MPEG to my PVR-350 it sounds just fine.
What program are you using to record the programs? This mpeg file seems 
to start just in the middle of an mpeg stream, which is why ps-analyzer 
doesn't like it.

If you just do 'cat /dev/video0 >/dev/video16' and switch channels using 
ivtv-tune or v4l2-ctl, do you also get noise on the channel switch? If 
not, then it is a problem with the recording program that is producing 
malformed mpegs.
