I have a system running Ubuntu 7.04 with a 2.6.20-16 kernel on a AMD X2 64 bit
processor. In this system I have both a PVR-500 and a PVR-350 installed. What
I'd like to do is utilize the PVR-350's SVideo or even composite out.
The problem that I have is that I can't seem to get ivtv to initialize the
PVR-350 card if I plug in the output breakout cable into the PVR-350. If I
leave the breakout cable unpluged and boot, the card is discovered and all is
good. Of course, I can't use the TV-Out without the breakout cable...
I thought that perhaps the PVR-350 maintained the config set with power applied
to the card, but I've tried completely removing the power before plugging in
the breakout cable and restarting with no luck.
Would gladly trade beer if someone can tell me what I can do to get this
working...
Relevant dmesg output below:
