Hans,

Things are looking up! I successfully get video to the desktop and can
move around within Myth.

Now the bad news :(

When I try to watch a video or live tv i get the "unable to initialize
video" error.

I can play back video fine with mplayer however.

If i lauch mythfrontend from the command line I see the following error.

IVD Error: Framebuffer number query failed.
                        eno: Bad address (14)
Did you load the ivtv-fb Linux kernel module?

2007-08-26 21:03:16.800 TV Error: LiveTV not successfully started

and an lsmod shows:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# lsmod | grep ivtv

ivtv 125521 2 ivtv_fb

v4l1_compat 17349 3 bttv,ivtv,videodev

If i boot to another kernel and use the older ivtvdev things work fine
however.

Thinking it a permissions problem i checked /dev/fb0 and also
/usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers.
(I even chmod 777 the new ivtv drivers)

Anyone have any suggestions? This is for the PVR-350 with video out,
which seems to be the one having this issue from what I can see on google.
