Hello!

Is Club3D ZAP-TV1011R tuner card supported by the ivtv driver? Because I
don't see it listed on
http://ivtvdriver.org/index.php/Supported_hardwarebut I have found
that some code is written for this card in v4l-dvb
repository in file linux/drivers/media/video/ivtv/ivtv-cards.c.
Why am I asking this? Because I am buying a card for my old PC (Duron
1300,128MB ram, geforce 2 MX400) and this card is the cheapest card I can
find with hardware MPEG2 encoding. I was going to buy Pinnacle PCTV analog
pro PCI (no hardware encoding) which is supported by saa713x driver but I
don't know if this PC is powerfull enough for real-time MPEG-2 encoding. I
tried encoding some different videos to mpeg2 and it was encoded at an
average of 60 fps (same for mpeg4). I think that this should be more than
enough but I don't know how much processor time this tv cards use when using
them. Would it be ok if I bought pinnacle PCTV analog pro PCI (110i) card or
do you reccomend the club3d ZAP-TV1011R card (if it is supported by ivtv
driver) for my old PC?

Thank you for your answers,
Blaž Tomažič
