Mikael,

Going into mythtv-setup and changing the cable options around worked for
me (it had been set on us-bcast, and I changed it to us-cable and it
worked fine, so perhaps yours is set incorrectly as well) when my
PVR-500 suddenly stopped working when I upgraded to gutsy. One thing to
try is:

cat /dev/video0 > test0.mpg
cat /dev/video1 > test1.mpg

and let each one run for 5 or 10 seconds and then try and play them back
and see if you get a picture out of them. You may need to use ivtv-tune
before hand to tune to a certain channel. If you get a good picture out
of them then it's probably some software option that needs to be changed
instead of a problem with hardware or firmware.

Regards,
Dave
