Hi Scott,
It should just work, so maybe there is something strange going on here.
Can you post the ivtv initialization messages from the kernel log?
(Usually found in /var/log/messages)
Also just try this:
modprobe ivtv
cat /dev/video0 >/dev/video16
(adjust the video devices as necessary and do NOT load ivtvfb).
That should give a TV out image.
If this works, then the driver works and any remaining problems are
related to the MythTV setup.
