This is a very old kernel for ivtv. If you can upgrade to at least
kernel 2.6.18 with ivtv 0.10.x, or even better kernel 2.6.23 with ivtv
from mainline that would probably make a lot of difference.

This is because it looks like the tuner is not set ([client=(tuner
unset)) which normally means it is not yet supported. If you know which
tuner this card has you can look tuner.h if it is supported.

This line above is saying that the tuner is not ^^ set.
