Problem: Only one tuner works on dual tuner PVR-500 card. And, um, yeah, I left some things out in my first post. Apologies. Also made 2nd post twice. Sorry not intentional and I would erase first 3 posts and start over but don't see how to do erase so I'll just try again. Results of : $ dmesg | egrep -i '(ivtv|tveeprom|tuner)' $ v4l2-ctl --log-status -d 0 $ v4l2-ctl --log-status -d 1 are in previous posts. Using ivtv-0.10.2-3mdv2008.0 x86_64 and ivtv-firmware version 20070217-1plf2007.1 noarch. And holy crap that could be the problem right there as RPMDrake says that this is ivtv and ivvtv-firmware for PVR250/350 series which are one tuner cards. Continuing with ivtv 'How To ask Questions' I don't know about any module options. ivtv and ivtv-firmware were installed with 'urpmi' from command line. I used this How To: http://www.mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO.html#toc6 Which is not up to date with Mandriva 2008.0. One tuner only working occurs in Mythtv and MPlayer.
