I have a 42" Sony rear projection tv that I output to with my PVR-350. When the PVR-350 records and plays back through s-video to it, the image is fine on it. Whenever I playback a firewire capture through the PVR-350 s-video to it, the image is shifted to right and down some (I assume this is because of the gui x and y adjustments).
To remedy this in MythTV I set aspect override to fill. However with the firewire recordings, the image doesn't fit such that the logo is off screen and I don't see any text that may appear at bottom. I note that my MythTV PVR-350 image height and width is set for 480x480. I also have gui x and y adjustments. Do I adjust the the height and width to something the firewire recordings are set for and then fuss with the gui y and y adjustments? Or should I use ivtvctl -F width= height= ? Is there something someone can recommend?
