I am not sure my mail server is working properly, so a better reply

I purchased an Acer Idea 510 at the beginning of the year. When I try to
install the CX18 drivers the syslog shows:
        Feb 10 12:15:14 acer kernel: [ 8929.590732] cx18-0: Initialized
        card #0: Hauppauge HVR-1600
        Feb 10 12:15:14 acer kernel: [ 8929.591073] cx18-1: Initializing
        card #1
        Feb 10 12:15:14 acer kernel: [ 8929.591078] cx18-1: Unknown
        card: vendor/device: 14f1/5b7a
        Feb 10 12:15:14 acer kernel: [ 8929.591082] cx18-1:
        subsystem vendor/device: 12ab/0718
        Feb 10 12:15:14 acer kernel: [ 8929.591085] cx18-1: Defaulting
        to Hauppauge HVR-1600 card
        Feb 10 12:15:14 acer kernel: [ 8929.591087] cx18-1: Please mail
the vendor/device and subsystem vendor/device IDs and what kind
        of
        Feb 10 12:15:14 acer kernel: [ 8929.591090] cx18-1: card you
have to the ivtv-devel mailinglist (www.ivtvdriver.org)
        Feb 10 12:15:14 acer kernel: [ 8929.591092] cx18-1: Prefix your
subject line with [UNKNOWN CX18 CARD].

Using Device manager I have ascertained the subvendor is:
        Yuan Yuan Enterprise Co., Ltd

I posted this info on the developers list, but they would like a photo
of the card. Does anyone have this card in older box they are willing to
take apart and photo? I am loathe to risk my warranty.

If it is any help I also put some print statements in the tveeprom
module (sorry about the formatting but C+ is not my forte) and these
show the first 40 bytes of the eprom after which they all seem to be
'ff'. - see attached file.
