Hi all,

I've made a new tree available here:
http://linuxtv.org/hg/~hverkuil/v4l-dvb-ioctl2

This tree reorganizes the ioctl implementation to use a new internal V4L
API. However, this is a major change to ivtv and it could do with some
testing, in particular for the PVR-350 specific output features.

It should behave identical to the ivtv version in the master tree
(http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb) except for the VIDIOC_ENUMSTD ioctl
which returns a different set of standards. This should not be a
problem, though.

Instructions on how to build this driver are here:

http://www.ivtvdriver.org/index.php/Download#Bleeding_Edge_driver

In particular I would like to ask Ian and Martin to do some testing for
the framebuffer, X driver and MPEG output features.

I only had time for some basic tests and I don't think I'll have much
time until after the weekend, so I'd greatly appreciate it if some of
you could do some testing, including when used with MythTV and similar
programs.

It's bleeding edge, so don't complain to me if your favorite program
failed to record :-)

Thanks,

        Hans
