Great find, Joe. I was looking for something like this but lost motivation
when I discovered that my PVR-150 didn't suffer from the same fate as the
PVR-350. Instead of looking further I changed the recording priority to give
the 150 precedence.

I had to bump it up to 32 for my 800 MHz Pentium III machine, instead of 16.
The machine doesn't seem to be any worse for the wear, and I finally have
readable closed captions again.
