I was looking for something like this but lost motivation when I discovered that my PVR-150 didn't suffer from the same fate as the PVR-350. Instead of looking further I changed the recording priority to give the 150 precedence. I had to bump it up to 32 for my 800 MHz Pentium III machine, instead of 16. The machine doesn't seem to be any worse for the wear, and I finally have readable closed captions again. --scott
