Hi Alex,

Please get this archive:

http://linuxtv.org/hg/%7Ehverkuil/v4l-dvb-newcards/archive/tip.tar.bz2

It contains an initial card definition for the new-style PVR-550.

Build instructions are the same as for the bleeding edge driver:

http://www.ivtvdriver.org/index.php/Download#Bleeding_Edge_driver

Since this card cannot be autodetected you will have to specify the
module option 'cardtype=27'.

See which inputs work and which do not and let me know the results.

BTW, you mentioned cardtype 53. I'm not sure what you meant with that
since there is no cardtype 53. I suspect you meant the old diamond
PVR-550 cardtype which uses *tuner* type 53.

Depending on the results I will follow-up with additional instructions
on how to find the right combination of values, but I think it is likely
that this will work.

Regards,

        Hans
