So you think these modules got in there as part of the default Mandriva
2008 Kernel?  And the normal build process I just followed was supposed
to replace these modules, but it did not?

Should I be looking to;

A.  Build a custom kernel and try to not include these modules.
B.  Figure out how to make my cx18 build overwrite these zipped modules
which are part of my distribution.

Is it correct to call the name.o files modules?
