Hi, I'm running into troubles when setting the number of B-Frames to zero in the ivtv driver.
e.g. after: v4l2-ctl -c video_b_frames=0 reading from the device blocks. I know that earlier versions of the driver worked correctly. Currently I'm using Kernel 2.6.24 (Ubuntu 8.04). Here's the dmesg snippet: [ 32.603016] ivtv: Start initialization, version 1.1.0 [ 32.603307] ivtv0: Initializing card #0 [ 32.603318] ivtv0: Autodetected Yuan MPC622 card (cx23416 based) [ 32.642923] ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:0a.0[A] -> GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 20 [ 32.642944] ivtv0: Unreasonably low latency timer, setting to 64 (was 32) [ 33.081966] tuner 0-004b: chip found @ 0x96 (ivtv i2c driver #0) [ 33.418736] cx25840 0-0044: cx25843-24 found @ 0x88 (ivtv i2c driver #0) [ 33.445822] tda8290 0-004b: setting tuner address to 61 [ 33.498512] tuner 0-004b: type set to tda8290+75a [ 33.499500] ivtv0: Registered device video0 for encoder MPG (4096 kB) [ 33.499522] ivtv0: Registered device video32 for encoder YUV (8192 kB) [ 33.499541] ivtv0: Registered device vbi0 for encoder VBI (1024 kB) [ 33.499560] ivtv0: Registered device video24 for encoder PCM (320 kB) [ 33.499564] ivtv0: Initialized card #0: Yuan MPC622 [ 33.499606] ivtv: End initialization Thanks for your help Alex _______________________________________________ ivtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://ivtvdriver.org/mailman/listinfo/ivtv-users
