I fixed that a while ago. Please use the latest driver from http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb Also there is a bug where the audio for the first capture after modprobe will not be right or not be there. Every other analog capture after the first should work. There is a fix for that in http://linuxtv/hg/~awalls/v4l-dvb but I don't generally recommend using that repo, as I can delete it or put broken code in it at my whim. :) > I have 2 cards in the system (audio problem persists with or without the > other card installed) Yup. PVR-150's are capable of 32, 44.1, and 48 ksps just like the HVR-1600. Both the ivtv and cx18 drivers support all three rates. Myth's profiles should let you set these. > I'm just plain stuck > > I've read that you are using mythtv and obviously you have the hvr1600 > so as a last resort, I'm asking how you got it to work. I avoid testing and debugging with MythTV: great app; horrible troubleshooting tool. Make sure you have a cx18 driver that reports v1.0.4. Make sure audio works at 48 ksps with mplayer: $ v4l2-ctl --log-status $ mplayer /dev/video1 -cache 8192 Then try with 44.1 ksps, then try 32 ksps. You may also wan to try the composite input at 48, 44.1, and 32 ksps with mplayer. If only 32 ksps tuner audio doesn't work, you definitely have the old version of the driver that didn't set the PLL to operate in a valid range.
