Working from memory, but try adding a memset to cx18-driver.c, line 1090 for
the tuner_setup struct:
memset(&setup, 0, sizeof(struct tuner_setup));
I'm pretty sure that will do it.

I actually chased this down a few weeks ago but haven't submitted a
patch upstream yet. It's a simple use of uninitialized memory that
occurs when the s_type_addr() call gets made. Memset the tuner_struct
before calling s_type_addr and the issue goes away.
Or hold off and I'll submit a patch next week when I'm at ELC.
