I use a vanilla 2.6.9 kernel (SMP preempt) and now the ivtv-0.2.0-rc3 driver (previous drivers were also working fine).
In my modprob.conf I added: alias char-major-81 videodev alias char-major-81-0 ivtv options ivtv ivtv_debug=1 ivtv_std=3 tda9887=0 tuner=45
For tests, I manually tuned the card: ivtvctl -d freq (where freq = desired_frequency*16) I check the status with: ivtvctl -I which gives, when everything is ok: check SAA7115 input signal ioctl: VIDEO_STATUS = Sat/Dvd
SAA7115 reg[STATUS#1 - 0x1E] = 83 Color Standard (D0-D1): SECAM ... Ready for capture (D0): Yes ... and watch Tv with: gmplayer -ao alsa9 /dev/video0 or cat /dev/video0 |xine -V Xv -
It happens that sometime MythTv does not properly tunes the channels, but I could not figure the reasons.

Hi,
I'm a new user of a PVR-350 (model 992). I'm trying to use ivtv since a few days and it doesn't work for the moment.
I've read the wiki pages, and some of the ivtv-users list archives but it doesn't help. All I can have is a black screen with some noise.
Could any french user of ivtv send information about a configuration that works today ? I mean: Linux kernel number version of ivtv module (either module.conf or modprobe.conf) configuration file.
It could be also usefull to have a table on the wiki pages with the configurations that reports to works fine depending on the countries.
Thanks,
Bruno
