I am trying to compile mythtv in an amd64 following the instruction I change -march=pentiumpro to -march=opteron in the settings.pro file now i get al the error related to the opteron
This is because opteron is not recognized by gcc as a valid flag. I am pretty sure what you need there is -march=k8. I don't own a opteron so if I am wrong hopefully someone will let correct me.
