Hi team, I am researching on achieving low latency in real time video streaming.
Does anbody know, what is the latency of the Hauppauge PVR-350/250 card for MPEG encoding a live video image-frame ? i.e. delay from the point just before capturing an image-frame to the point after writing it to a file (after MPEG compression), say using "cat /dev/video0 > movie.mpg". Like for normal "Hauppauge WinTV-GO" cards, latency is approx <= 33 ms, which I measured using "streamer" program of xawtv.
