I'm having a problem with IVTV where it defaults the IVTV driver to a
PVR 150 instead of a PVR 250. On the initial install of IVTV it runs
perfectly until reboot where it defaults to a 150. Also if I go into the
BIOS and hard set a different IRQ for the PCI slot that the PVR 250 is
in it will detect again as a PVR 250 until I reboot again. I've tried
this on Debian and Fedora both do the same thing, installing from source
or rpm made no difference. I've tried both ivtv-0.2.0-rc3i and
ivtv-0.3.2t with the same results. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
Just in case you missed the other convesation, try adding cardtype=2 to your modprobe ivtv line. There were a few other suggestions in there too, but that fixed it for me.
I figured when the Survivor recording was hosed that I'd better get it fixed... my son will be really upset that we missed it! He's six, BTW. :-)
