I'm somewhat new on the list, though I've been using the ivtv drivers
for nearly a year now. I've installed the debian unstable drivers
(0.3.6b) and am having a slight problem - in MythTV, when I change the
channel, MythTV pauses, refreshes, and acts like the channel has changed
even though nothing changed. The OSD shows the new channel's info but
the screen shows the old channel. I'd appreciate any help you could offer.
Here's my setup:
Debian unstable
kernel 2.6.11
AverMedia M179
ivtv 0.3.6b - debian packages from http://www.hellion.org.uk/ivtv/index.html
also tried 0.3.6e with no success, so I went back to the packaged version
/etc/modules:
ivtv
tuner
/etc/modutils/video:
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 ivtv
options ivtv ivtv_debug=1 tuner=2 cardtype=3
options msp3400 once=0 simpler=1 simple=0
add below ivtv msp3400 saa7115 tuner saa7127
