John Gill commented on IVY-414:
-------------------------------
Thanks Xavier.
There is still one minor problem regarding the ivy logo in the top right hand
corner of the report. Because it is now located at
http://incubator.apache.org/ivy/images/logo.png, the redirect from
http://ivy.jayasoft.org/logo.png doesn't find it, so the logo is a broken image.
In addition, is the intent to change the URLs for the images in the xsl file in
bundled with IVY to refer to http://incubator.apache.org/ivy/images/, and what
happens on that great day when IVY moves out of the incubator and becomes a top
level apache project?
I guess I am saying I am worried that the links will get broken again later,
and what about all the old reports that were generated.
Here is another idea. Why not put the images with the generated reports (they
are only small, and could go in an images directory under where the reports are
generated)? That way, even if you have no internet connection, the report will
show the images. In addition, if the images move (to another web site or
whatever), old reports will still show them.
What do you think?
> ivy html reports still seem to refer to images on http://ivy.jayasoft.org

> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: 1.4.1
> Reporter: John Gill
>
> It seems that the ivy-report.xsl file still refers to various images at
> jayasoft and even though the URL is redirected to the incubator for ivy at
> apache, the images are not there either.
> The images in question are:
> * http://ivy.jayasoft.org/images/searched.gif
> * http://ivy.jayasoft.org/images/downloaded.gif
> * http://ivy.jayasoft.org/images/evicted.gif
> * http://ivy.jayasoft.org/images/error.gif
> * http://ivy.jayasoft.org/logo.png
> Would it be possible to upload the images somewhere (or attach them to this
> issue) so I can download them and use a custom ivy-report.xsl. In addition,
> it would be good if the the ivy-report.xsl supplied with ivy refers to images
> that actually exist.
> It might also be a good idea to make the images part of the ivy project in
> subversion so they can all be kept together (or maybe they already are and I
> can't find them).
