In hat Issue he wrote "Java 1.5".
If you want to be compatible with JDK 1.4 you have to have an eye on
that in
these days of Java6u1 ... Always make a build on 1.4 before commiting.
My eclipse environment is configured to use a 1.4.2 jdk when
developing Ivy (and updating other people changes), so I quite
frequently verify the build is going well with jdk 1.4. But I agree
that it's not always easy to ensure compatibility with what we claim
to be compatible with (Ivy is supposed to be compatible with ant 1.5.1
or greater, but it's been a very long time since I did a test with
1.5.1).
