Thanks for your proposition #1, but I have unfortunately too few time available to invest in the xooki project.
For this particular case, the choice between #2 and #3 are depending if the extension I made is usefull in the xooki code base or not. If you you want, I can have a look to see how to use the config.js. But if you want to have this code in the xooki codebase (maybe with some enhancements), then it is useless.
