artifacts with non-jar extension

Ideally, I would like to store multiple artifacts in the same  
directory in the repository is this possible?

Also, each of these artifacts will have a non-jar extension e.g.
-- repo/jacorb/2.2.2/omg/
--- CosEventChannelAdmin-2.2.2.idl
--- CosNotification-2.2.2.idl
--- CosNaming-2.2.2.idl

How would I go about doing this in my ivy.xml and my settings.xml file?
