Conflict Resolution - From Individual to the Global

A new kind of Citizen has emerged:
Citizens who can no longer wait for governments to solve the world's
growing problems.
Citizens who must speak, act and stand for what they believe in.
Citizens with the courage to cross the borders of personal, political
and ideological beliefs to embrace the oneness of all humanity.
Beginning the weekend of March 19-20, the International Peace College
(IPC) will offer training in peace strategies through a series of five
weekend workshops in Sedona, leading to a certificate in citizen
diplomacy. Participants will explore how personal conflict relates to
global conflict and how both can be transformed and used constructively
as a dynamic force for positive change.
Rama Jyoti Vernon, the founder and president of the Center for
International Dialogue, and her husband, Unity minister Rev. Max Lafser,
have designed an extensive curriculum based on East-West psychology.
Classes will explore the ancient roots of conflict, how to use conflict
as a creative force for positive change, the interrelationship of all
living systems, and healing through forgiveness. Participants will learn
mediation strategies such as transforming destructive emotions into
positive action, self-preparation and active listening.
All Workshops are (SAT/SUN) from 8:30-5pm.

Cost: $150 per weekend. $125 early registration.
