Hi all,
We are using the PsychoPath XPath 2.0 engine for assertions processing.

Just thought of updating the list on where the PsychoPath team is
currently, on the XPath 2.0 compliance front.

The current PsychoPath code base, on Eclipse servers passes about 93%
of the W3C XPath 2.0 test suite. I think, this is quite impressive. We
are currently, trying to help comply PsychoPath even more to the XPath
2.0 test suite.

Here's a blog post I wrote recently, on psychopath activity, we are
engaged in,
http://mukulgandhi.blogspot.com/2009/07/eclipse-psychopath-xpath-20-processor.html.

Users would see lot of improvements to PsychoPath quality, in the next
few official releases, and also in Eclipse WTP 3.2 time frame. The
final Eclipse WTP 3.2 release, is planned to come out around,
2009-12-18. But we'll have interim releases like WTP 3.2 M1 etc.
before that, which would have improvements we have made till now.

The latest PsychoPath code base on Eclipse still requires JDK 1.5
level. But we plan to have a JDK 1.4 release as well, in the future.
The current PsychoPath library on Xerces dev servers is JDK 1.3
compliant, as is the rest of Xerces.

I feel, the current PsychoPath JAR on Xerces servers has reasonable
XPath 2.0 conformance, which the users can use, as shipped with
Xerces. Xerces users wishing to have more XPath 2.0 compliance, can
download the latest PsychoPath library from www.eclipse.org. This
approach has also been agreed upon on this list earlier too.

Any suggestions, on the current state of affairs would be great.
