Xerces currently supports the XPointer Framework [1] and the XPointer element()
[2] scheme. Though this meets the minimum requirements for XInclude [3] it's
quite limited in capability compared to the more powerful XPointer xpointer()
[4] scheme which allows one to select document fragments using XPath. Xerces'
streaming XInclude processor would be greatly improved if it provided support
for a streamable subset of this scheme.
