The latest XSD document test5.xsd, that you've provided, emits couple of
validation errors with the corresponding XML instance document that you've
provided.
I'd suggest that, you may change the two failing <assert> (below the comment
'<!-- * Start of Highlighted Lines for Untreated Kind of Error' within the XSD
document, that you've posted) to following form,
<xs:assert test="matches($value ...
<xs:assert test="if (matches($value ...
These modifications seem to be a good XSD writing style, and works for me.
After solving the above mentioned aspects, I'm then getting following <assert>
to fail,
<xs:assert test="if (./text()[last()>1]) then false() else true()"/>
I've a feeling that, you may be writing this <assert> wrongly for your
requirement (it doesn't make lot of sense to me). What do you want exactly, to
do with this <assert>?
