Hi all, A while ago, we had copied Xerces-J's compliance reports with W3C XML Schema 1.0 test suite, at https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/xerces/java/branches/xml-schema-1.0-tests/w3c_xmlschema10-testsuite/reports/overall_xsd10_testsuite_results.html.
As you could see that, Xerces-J seems to be failing, quite a few microsoft W3C XML Schema 1.0 tests (success % is reported as 95.43). I had actually analyzed many of those reported microsoft test case failures, and concluded that Xerces-J is in compliance with W3C XML Schema 1.0 spec for many of those failing tests. One of the areas, where Xerces-J is failing many microsoft W3C XML Schema 1.0 tests is "regex". IMHO, I think, for many of those "regex" tests, microsoft's interpretation of XML Schema 1.0 spec is wrong. I guess, it'd be interesting, if people on this list, can analyze Xerces-J's failures to W3C XML Schema 1.0 test suite (as reported at, https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/xerces/java/branches/xml-schema-1.0-tests/w3c_xmlschema10-testsuite/reports/overall_xsd10_testsuite_results.html), and report their conclusions case-by-case on the list here, then perhaps we could fix case-by-case if we're non-compliant. Xerces-J's compliance reports for W3C XML Schema 1.1 test suite (available at, https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/xerces/java/branches/xml-schema-1.1-tests/w3c_xmlschema11-testsuite/reports/overall_xsd11_testsuite_results.html), seems to be nice and we don't seem to need to take any actions for W3C XML Schema 1.1 tests. -- Regards, Mukul Gandhi --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: j-dev-unsubscr...@xerces.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: j-dev-h...@xerces.apache.org
